"Baba" is an amateur documentation of a day spent between the artist and her absent father. Set up as a way to learn more about her father and his day-to-day life, the film reveals an awkward, tense and strained relationship between Father and Daughter. The film switches between awkward conversation with the artist's father and imagery of Egyptian television programmes, books, documents, Islamic calligraphy and the Father's Arabic family tree. The film ends with the artist and her father discussing the artist's love life.
